1. Peoples' participation and ownership in development
   People must lead, participate and have ownership of their own AT development.
   
   
2. Equity and bias for the poorest and disadvantaged
   Assurance is given to the community in terms of equal opportunity and access to AT, local resources and benefits, with particular attention given to the poor farmers, women and indigenous peoples.
   
   
3. Strength in teamwork
   Achieving best results in AT through collective spirit and efforts.
   
   
4. Technological innovation and competence
   The organization and its NGO and PO partners should uphold innovation and mastery in AT development, and strive to achieve competence in delivering AT to the people.
