Mission

The SIBAT Network shall help develop, promote and popularize the application of sustainable agriculture and appropriate technology (AT) for genuine rural development.

Vision

The SIBAT Network envisions a just and sovereign society that upholds genuine development based on people-centered science and technology.

Goals (2003 -2012):

1. Facilitate the development of Village Level Sustainable Development (VLSD) in organized communities through sustainable agriculture and appropriate technology.
   
   
2. Help establish the place of and promote appropriate technology or AT in the national and pro-people economic agenda, upheld in practice by organized communities, and working side by side with allied networks, organizations and individuals.
